This has become a family favorite! It's easy to make and melts in your mouth!

After posting this recipe on my blog a fellow blogger left this comment:"Well the secret is out. Folks from the deep south has had this pie as a staple for decades. It is also good in custard cups without the pie crust and caramelize the top for a wonderful dessert.~Kathy"

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
sugar
1/2 c
melted butter - cool and drizzle in bowl.
1 tsp
vanilla
1/2 c
buttermilk
2 Tbsp
flour
4
eggs

1Mix together until frothy.

2Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or by tapping the side of the pie pan and center barely moves.

***Make sure you take your first bite when it is a bit warm! Oh, so good!
