Butterfly Chocolate Mint Pie

Ingredients

1/4 lb
oreo cookies, crushed (about 20 cookies)
1/2 c
melted butter
1 pkg
large, instant chocolate pudding mix
1 c
milk
1/2 tsp
mint extract
1 pt
vanilla ice cream
1 pkg
knox gelatin dissolved in 2 tablespoons cool water
1/2 c
chopped pecans
1 c
heavy cream, whipped
1 Tbsp
sugar
1/4 tsp
mint extract

Step-By-Step

1Mix oreo cookies and melted butter, and pat into a 9 inch pie pan. Then mix filling ingredients together, and pour into crust. Just before serving, whip cream sugar and mint extract and pile on pie with mint sprigs and butterflies.

2To make butterflies - draw 1 wing on cardboard, tracing 10 on waxed paper, some both ways. Pour melted chocolate over drawings. Now fold wax paper several times and fold into an "M" lay a pair of wings pulled off paper on slant. Pour more chocolate for a body.
