Recipe from Keeblers Ready Crust.Have not tried this recipe. Good one for Holidays, or just special occassion, Very rich and creamy pie. Very elegant looking!

Ingredients

1
graham cracker , ready crust
1
envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup
water
2/3 cup
sugar
3 eggs
separated
1/4 cup
brandy
1/4 cup
creme de cacao
1 1/2 cups
frozen whipped topping, whipped topping for garnish
dash salt
grated nutmeg, garnish

Step-By-Step

1In saucepan sprinkle gelatin over water. Add 1/3 cup sugar, salt and egg yolks. Stir to blend. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until gelatin dissolves and mixture thickens. Do not boil. Remove from heat.

2Stir in brandy and creme de cacao. Cool 45 minutes. Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually beat in remaining 1/3 cup sugar; continue beating until stiff peaks form.

3Fold into gelatin mixture. Fold whipped topping into filling and pour into crust. Chill 2-3 hours or till firm. Serve topped with whipped toppilng and a dash of grated nutmeg.
