BIG MOTHER'S CHESS PIE

This version of the Southern favorite was passed down through my father's side of the family. it's a favorite at Thanksgiving, or whenever the extended family gets together.

Ingredients

5
eggs
2 3/4 c
sugar
2 Tbsp
flour
2 Tbsp
cornmeal
2 Tbsp
vinegar
1/2 c
evaporated milk
2 stick
butter, melted
1 Tbsp
vanilla extract
2
unbaked pie shells

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350.
2Beat eggs well.
3Add sugar, flour, cornmeal, vinegar, evaporated milk, melted butter and vanilla. Continue beating as each ingredient is added.
4Pour into unbaked pie shells.
5Bake 30-35 minutes at 350.
