This recipe came from a friend of mine, a Pastor's wife from Georgia. Have not found a pecan pie recipe I like better! Great pie for the holidays!
BEST EVER PECAN PIE
light brown sugar
light karo syrup
eggs, lightly beaten
coarsely chopped pecans
1Melt butter and add 1 cup brown sugar, stirring well.
2Add white Karo syrup and a pinch of salt, blending well.
3Add four lightly beaten eggs and mix together well.
4Pour into unbaked pie crust, add pecans on top of pie filling, and bake at 400 for 10 minutes and 350 for 35 minutes.
