Apple-Spice Dump Cake

I like to call this cake an "All American Comfy Cake" delicious!

This cake has been around for many years and served in many homes I am sure....but a cake worth sharing time and time again.

I thought it was so good that I submitted it into our church cookbook.

1 (21-oz.) can apple pie filling
1 duncan hines spice cake mix
1 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup of walnuts


1Preheat oven to 350.
2Pour pie filling into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
3Sprinkle cake dry mix over pie filling.
4Pour melted butter over top of cake mix.
5Top with nuts.
6Bake for 35-40 minutes.
7Serve with a dollop of cool whip or scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Yummy!
