Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie

I make apple butter every year from our own apples so when my mom saw this recipe on a postcard she bought it and mailed it to me. I made it for Thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it!

Ingredients

PIE

1 c
canned pumpkin puree
1 c
apple butter
1/4 c
dark brown sugar
1
9 in. unbaked deep dish pie crust
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp
salt
3 large
eggs, beaten
1 c
evaporated milk

STREUSEL TOPPING:

3 Tbsp
butter
1/2 c
all-purpose flour
1/4 c
dark brown sugar
1/2 c
chopped pecans

Directions Step-By-Step

Pie Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, apple butter, 1/4 c. brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir in eggs and evaporated milk. Pour into prepared pie shell.

Bake in preheated oven for 50-60 minutes. Sprinkle streusel topping over the pie and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Streusel Topping Directions:
In a small bowl, combine butter, flour, and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Stir until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans.
