These are easier to make than it seems they should be because they're absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

3 oz pkg
at room temperature
1\2 c
butter at room temperature
1 c
flour
2/3 c
pecans, chopped
1 egg
beaten
3\4 c
(firmly packed) brown sugar
1 tsp
vanilla

Step-By-Step

1Combine cream cheese, 12 cup butter and flour into pastry. Chill one hour or longer. Divide into 24 parts. Shape into balls. Press each ball into miniture muffin tin. Leave no holes
2Partially fill the 24 tart shells with pecans. Combine remaining ingredients and 1 tsp butter; mix well.
3Pour 1 tsp over pecan-filled shells. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees or until brown. Cool slightly. Remove from tins.
