Ingredients

DOUGH:

1 pkg
yeast
1/4 c
warm water
1
egg
1 c
small curd cottage cheese
1/4 c
sugar
1 tsp
salt
1/4 c
butter, melted
2 1/2 c
flour

FILLING:

3/4 c
brown sugar
1 tsp
vanilla extract
3 Tbsp
butter, melted
3/4 c
chopped walnuts

ICING:

1 c
powdered sugar
1
cube butter
vanilla, coffee, or maple flavoring to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup water.

In a medium bowl beat egg slightly. Add in cottage cheese, sugar, salt, melted butter, and the flour.
Mix together and add yeast. Mix well.

Roll at once into 10x14 rectangle.

Mix the filling ingredients together and spread on the dough. Roll up the dough and mixture and cut into 16 pieces.

Place on large greased cookie sheet. Press down quite flat. Let rise in warm place for 1 1/2 hours.

Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes

Mix the icing ingredients and frost the rolls.
