Nancy's Notes:

my boys, who are grown men now, used to love these treats and would sit and eat the whole pan in one sitting.

preheat oven to 350 degree.
grease 8" square pan

mix egg, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy
add flour and mix.
fold in pecans. Mixture will be thick

spread in greased pan and bake for 18 - 20 minutes.
cool and cut into squares and enjoy
