Directions
Add 3 egg yolks to bowl.Pour in Sweetened Condense Milk and 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. With tip of knife split the vanilla bean down center from top to bottom, spread open. Using tip of knife scrape the vanilla bean to remove the beans from pod. Add vanilla beans to egg yolks and sweetened condense milk.Mix well.Add cold whipping cream to cold bowl. Whip until peaks form.Fold whipped cream into the vanilla bean mix, (gently to keep air in cream).Pour Ice Cream mix into a loaf pan (one you would use to bake bread in). Hi Marilyn,
This sounds like a super easy recipe, which is just the kind I like! I do have a question, though. I just bought this little ice cream freezer that you don't have to use ice or salt in. The bowl of the freezer has a special liquid in it that is sealed in and you leave it in your freezer for 8-24 hours then add your mixture and put the top on. Plug it in and turn it on, within about 2 hours....ice cream! My question is can I use your recipe in my ice cream freezer?
By the way, I thought you might want to know that you forgot to add sweetened condensed milk to your ingredient list. No big deal, I just had to point it out. (The perfectionist coming out in me.)
Thanks bunches,
Susan
