Sometimes I can get burned out on the regular apple crisp , so i change it up and make this recipe instead. I like to Serve it warm with whipped cream. It very good cold too.

Ingredients

1 can(s)
(1 lb. 13oz. can) sliced peaches ; drained or you can use 2 pkg's (12oz. ea.) frozen peach's , thawed and drained.
1/2 c
sugar
2 Tbsp
tang ; instant breakfast drink
1 Tbsp
tapioca (i use minute brand)
1 Tbsp
butter, melted
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp
butter
2 c
post grape-nuts flakes
3 Tbsp
brown sugar
2 Tbsp
tang ; instant breakfast drink

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine the first 7 ingredients in a 1.5 QT. Baking dish ; Mix well. Allow to stand for 15 minutes.

Cover and bake @ 375 deg. for 30 minutes.

Melt the remaining 2 Tbs. of butter in a large skillet , add the cereal ; stir until butter is absorbed.
Sprinkle with the brown sugar ; stir and heat until melted.

Remove from heat and sprinkle with the remaining instant breakfast Tang drink ; mix well.

Uncover baked fruit mixture and top with the cereal mixture.

Place back in the oven and bake uncovered for 3 minutes more.
