|2 c||bisquick baking mix|
|3 c||peaches, peeled and sliced|
|1/4 tsp||almond extract or vanilla extract|
|1/2 c||maraschino cherry juice|
Combine all crust ingredients and spread about 2/3 of the mixture on the bottom of a baking dish.
For filling: in a sauce pan combine sugar, flour, salt and cherry juice. Cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly, plus one additional minute. Mix in butter, extract and peaches. Pour over crust.
Sprinkle remaining crust mixture over fruit filling.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, until bubbly and browned.
