Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 F.
Mix the first 6 ingredients together in a food processor and pulse until combined. Press into a well-greased 9×13. Refrigerate while making filling.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the flour, sugar, salt and softened butter until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, lemon zest and lemon juice. Pour the lemon mixture into the flour mixture. Beat at medium speed until the batter is smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Turn off mixer, fold in blueberries by hand. Spread filling over crust. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 350 F, until the center is baked through and the edges are lightly browned. Let the bars cool completely before you try to cut them.
For the glaze (optional):
Whisk the glaze ingredients together i a small bowl until it’s all combined. Drizzle over cooled bars and spread around with the back of a spoon. Refrigerate until the glaze hardens. Eat and enjoy.

I have these in the oven as we speak, but a few questions, for the filling you say mix the first 6 ingredients together in a food processor....according to your ingredients, there are only 5 ingredients in the crust, I mixed only the 5....next, for the filling you say beat the remaining flour....what do you mean by remaining? I used the 1 1/2 cups as directed for the crust, so I assume you mean beat the 1CUP of flour for the filling, not the REMAINING???? They sound so good, so I hope they don't come out wrong....think you maybe need to redo the directions? Thanx:)

Darn, should have been 2 tsp lemon zest. The remaining flour was the flour in the filling. You did it right. I just forgot to add the zest to the recipe...so sorry. I hope you like them. I will edit the recipe.

It is edited now, which I am sure does you no good, as far as missing the zest in the crust. It's easy to miss an ingredient. But, I noticed you haven't posted any recipes, so you wouldn't know how easy it is to do. So sorry for the imperfection on my part. :)

Cassie, I hope you're on your computer right now. I'm making these bars - do you bake the crust first before adding the filling?
