My friend Linda owns an apple orchard, she aquires many great apple recipes. I buy apples from her every year. This is a very delicious and quick made apple cobbler. Enjoy !!

Ingredients

5 c
peeled and thinly sliced apples(i like granny smith)
1/2 c
sugar
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 c
water
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 Tbsp
butter, unsalted at room temperature

BATTER

1/2 c
allpurpose flour
1/2 c
sugar
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt
2 Tbsp
butter, softened
1 medium
egg, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
1/3 c
butterscotch caramel sauce

Directions Step-By-Step

COBBLER: Pre heat oven to 375 degrees F.
Grease a nine (9) inch baking dish. Place apple slices on the bottom. combine other ingredients in cobbler and gently pour over apple slices. Dot with butter and set aside.

Batter: Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Add butter and egg, combine well.
Spoon over apple mixture in 9 equal portions, batter will spread during cooking.
Bake in 375 degree oven 35-40 minutes.

When cobbler comes out of oven, drizzle the butterscotch Caramal Sauce over top (you can buy it at the super market)and sprinkle it with the brown sugar.
