Ingredients

1 1/2 c
flour
1 1/2 c
quick cooking rolled oats
3/4 c
brown sugar
1 tsp
finely shredded lemon peel
1/4 tsp
baking soda
3/4 c
margarine or butter
1 can(s)
(16 oz) cranberry sauce
1/4 c
finely chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions Step-By-Step

In large mixing bowl stir together the flour oats, brown sugar, lemon peel and baking soda. Stir in margarine or butter, mix well. Reserve 1 cup for top. Pat remaining mix in ungreased 12x7x2" pan.
Bake 350 df for 20 minutes.

Spread sauce atop of crust. Stir nuts into reserved mix, sprinkle on top cranberry sauce. Lightly pat oat mix into sauce. Bake 25-30 minutes more. Cool in pan.
Makes 24 bars.
