Ingredients For berry shortbread pizza

1 call purpose flour
-
1/4 cpowdered sugar

1/2 ccold butter, cubed

1/2 cchopped pevans
-
1 pkg8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1egg
-
1/3 csugar
- FOR THE TOPPING

1 3/4 cfrozen mixed berries, thawed

1/2 csugar
-
2 Tbspcornstarch
-
1/4 cwater
-
2 1/2 cfresh strawberries, sliced

2 cfresh blackberries
-
2 canfresh raspberries
-
1 cfresh blueberries
How To Make berry shortbread pizza

1In a bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in pecans. Press into an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan. Bake at 350F for 12-14 minutes or until crust is set and edges are lightly browned.

2Meanwhile, in a bowl, beat cream cheese, egg, and sugar until smooth. Spread over crust. Bake 8-10 minutes longer or until set. Cool to room temperature.

3For topping, process mixed berries and sugar in a food processor until blended. In a small saucepan, combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir in mixed berry mixture until blended. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Set mixture aside to cool, stirring frequently. Spread berry mixture over the cream cheese layer. Arrange fresh berries on top. refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing.
