Ingredients

apples, granny smith (large)
2 can(s)
refrigerated crescent rolls
1 c
butter (not margarine!)
1 c
white sugar
1/2 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
12 oz
mountain dew (1 can)
1
handful of sliced pecans

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease 9x13 baking dish

2Cut and core apple into 8 slices and set aside.

3Separate crescent roll dough triangles. Starting at either end, preferably the smaller end, begin to roll and wrap the apple wedges. Pinch to seal and place in greased baking dish

4melt butter on low-medium heat in medium sized saucepan. Once butter is melted, stir in white sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and sliced pecans

5Once ingredients are stirred and pecans are coated well, pour over the apple dumplings. Coat them well!

6Pour Mountain Dew over apple dumplings.

7Place in oven and bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown color appears
