Ingredients

apples, granny smith (large)
2 can(s)
refrigerated crescent rolls
1 c
butter (not margarine!)
1 c
white sugar
1/2 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
12 oz
mountain dew (1 can)

handful of sliced pecans

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease 9x13 baking dish

Cut and core apple into 8 slices and set aside.

Separate crescent roll dough triangles. Starting at either end, preferably the smaller end, begin to roll and wrap the apple wedges. Pinch to seal and place in greased baking dish

melt butter on low-medium heat in medium sized saucepan. Once butter is melted, stir in white sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and sliced pecans

Once ingredients are stirred and pecans are coated well, pour over the apple dumplings. Coat them well!

Pour Mountain Dew over apple dumplings.

Place in oven and bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown color appears
