apples cored, peeled and sliced
crushed pecans (optional)
Line apples in a lightly greased 13x9 inch pan. sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and season to taste with cinnamon and nutmeg. stir lightly.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, 1/2 sugar, brown sugar and oats. Cut in butter to resemble course crumbs.
Sprinkle crumbs evenly over apples. Top with pecans.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
