~ Old Fashioned Rice Pudding ~

vanilla or coconut cream pie filling - not instant
In a large saucepan, combine milk, rice, pudding mix, raisins and egg. Bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Cool 5 minutes, stirring twice.
Pour into individual dessert dishes. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Can be served warm or chilled.
If chilling before use, place plastic wrap directly on pudding.
