1/4 cunsweetened cocoa

3 Tbspquick cooking tapioca

2egg yolks, slightly beaten

2egg whites

How To Make old fashioned chocolate tapioca

1Combine 1/2 cup sugar, the cocoa, tapioca, milk, and egg yolks in medium saucepan. Let stand 5 minutes to soften. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full boil; boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Cool slightly.

2Beat egg whites in small mixer bowl until foamy; gradually beat in 1/4 cup sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold into tapioca mixture. Pour into bowl or individual dessert dishes; press plastic wrap directly onto surface. Chill until set.
