Ingredients

5 c
whole milk
1/2 c
sugar
1/2-3/4 c
rice (arborio)
2
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla
1 can(s)
(5 ounces) evaporated milk

Step-By-Step

1Cook milk, sugar and rice on medium heat for 1 1/2 hours on stove top. Stir often.
Take the rice mixture off heat.

2Beat eggs with vanilla.
Remove 1 cup of the rice mixture and stir in beaten eggs.
Add evaporated milk.
Add mix back to pot and simmer gently for 2 minutes, just until thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

3Chill and top with cinnamon, if desired.
