Tia Carmen's Pecan Pie

This recipe was given to me by my husband's Tia Carmen from Texas. It is a little less sweet than most pecan pie recipes and has been a hit for the last 10 years at our house.

Ingredients

1 c
pure maple syrup
1/2 c
sugar
1 Tbsp
sugar
1 1/4 c
pecans
3
eggs
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1 pinch
salt
3 Tbsp
butter, melted
1
pie crust shell

Step-By-Step

1Mix in a bowl maple syrup, sugar, eggs,vanilla, butter and salt.
2Add pecans and mix
3Pour into pie shell
4Bake in preheated oven at 375 for 15 minutes then lower to 350 for an additional 30 minutes. Check with knife to see if done cooking.
