Orange Blueberry Hill Pie

Try this easy semi-homemade pie! You can certainly use Your own homemade pie crust. This just makes life a bit simpler.
The orange in this recipe brings this pie to a whole new level! Orange and blueberry all the way!!!!
- 1 box
- refrigerated pie crusts (2 shells)
- 3/4 c
- 3 Tbsp
- 5 c
- 1/4 tsp
- zest & juice of one orange
- egg white
- 1 Tbsp
- 2 Tbsp
- sugar (used orange sugar)
In bowl combine sugar and cornstarch stir together, add blueberries and mix well. Add orange juice and zest stir in and let fruit set up for ten minutes.
Pinch sides together. Make slits on top.
Place tinfoil strips along pie edges to stop from burning removing 10min before baking time over.
Bake 45-50min till golden brown. Let cool two hours before slicing into.
I make lemon and orange sugar. In processor add cup sugar and two tablespoons zest of choice and process. Great for baking and teas.
