Marshmallow Cheesecake Pie

- regular size marshmallows
- 3/4 c
- 2- 8 oz pkg
- cream cheese, softened
- container cool whip
- graham cracker pie crust
- 1/4 c
- chocolate or caramel topping
1In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese until it is well mixed and creamy.
2In a medium saucepan, melt the marshmallows and milk together over medium-low heat. Keep a close eye on it and stir occasionally. It takes about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool.
3Add ingredients from saucepan to the cream cheese and beat with electric mixer to combine.
Fold in the whipped topping until thoroughly combined.
4Pour into graham cracker crust and let set in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
*Optional: drizzle with chocolate or caramel topping.
