Ingredients

1 stick
butter
1 large
egg, lightly beaten
1 c
2% milk
1 c
all purpose flour
1/2 c
splenda/sugar blend
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
sea salt
2 qt
whole strawberries, capped and washed
4 oz
low fat cream cheese cut in small pieces

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Melt butter and pour into a 9-by-13-inch glass baking dish.

3In a small bowl, mix together the egg, milk, flour, splenda / sugar blend, baking powder, and salt

4Pour directly over the butter in the baking dish, but do not stir.

5Add the strawberries, arranging in a single layer as much as possible.

6Sprinkle cream cheese pieces over strawberries.

7Bake for 45 minutes, or until top is golden brown and edges are bubbling. (Crust rises up and around the fruit, but fruit will still peek out of top.)

8Cool completely on a cake rack before serving
