Pineapple dessert

This recipe was given to me by my neighbour many years ago. I used to make it for my son when he was little. It is similar to a cheese cake. But it's not. It's a no bake refrigerated dessert. Great for summer entertaining or for the family.

Ingredients

1 pint of 14% sour cream
1 pkg vanilla instant pudding 4 portion size (do notmake into a pudding just use straight from the package)
1 tin (14oz) size crushed pineapple drained
1 cup crushed graham wafer crumbs
3 tbsp melted butter or margarine
2 tbsp white sugar

Step-By-Step

1For the base

2Mix together the graham wafer crumbs, melted butter, and sugar
Reserve 1/4 cup of crumbs for the top

3Pack into a buttered 8"X8" inch square pan
DO NOT BAKE

4For the Filling

5Mix together the sour cream, vanilla instant pudding, crushed pineapple (drained)

6Pour onto graham wafer base

7Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top

8Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate until set or overnight
