We like this best with cooked apples but, canned work well too. Great for any special event or just anytime! Everyone who has tried this dessert, LOVES it!

Ingredients

1/2 c
butter
1 c
sugar
1 c
flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
cinnamon
1 c
milk
2 c
cooked or canned apples

Directions Step-By-Step

Melt butter in a 2 qt. casserole.
In a separate bowl, Combine next 6 ingredients to make the batter and stir with a fork.

Now just pour the batter in the casserole in the center of the melted butter.

Next, pile the apples in the center of the batter.
Bake in 375* oven for 30-40 minutes or until the batter covers the fruit and the crust is golden brown.

Serve with ice cream and/or whipped cream or, our favorite is to drizzle with lemon sauce.
