One of my daughters favorite cookies. I would have preferred to add nuts, but she wanted them with just the chips...great either way. Enjoy!

Serves:

Depends how big you make them, Mine were golfball size ( I got 40 )

Prep:

Cook:

15 Min

Method:

Bake

Ingredients

1 c
butter, softened
2/3 c
packed, brown sugar
2
eggs
1 tsp
baking soda
1/4 tsp
salt
2 tsp
vanilla
3 c
ap flour
1 - 10 oz
bag nestle winter dark chocolate and mint morsels
1/2 c
white chocolate chips ( optional )

Directions Step-By-Step

1
In a mixer bowl ( I used my kitchen aid with paddle attachment.), beat butter for about 30 seconds. Add the sugars, baking soda and salt. Beat until well combined.
2
Add the eggs and vanilla, beat until smooth.
3
Now, beat in the 3 cups of flour. You may have to beat the last cup in my hand. This is a stiff dough. My mixer handled it, but a regular mixer may not.
4
Now, by hand, stir in your chips.
5
Using a rounded tablespoon of dough; carefully roll into balls. Place about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. ( I made mine a golfball size.) Bake for 12 - 15 minutes. Check sooner, as all ovens cook differently. Mine took exactly 15 minutes.
6
Cool for a few minutes on cookie sheet before removing to finish cooking in a wire rack.

Note:
I take my cookies out, while they still look like they have a bit of doughiness to them in the center. They always seem to turn out wonderfully chewy. That's just how we like them.

Enjoy!
