Ingredients For double mint cookies

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    green mint chips
  • 1/2 c
    coarsely chopped peppermint candies

How To Make double mint cookies

    Preheat oven to 350. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl; mix well. Beat sugar, brown sugar, and butter in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add flour mixture; mix well.

    Stir in mint chips and chopped candy. Shape dough into 1 inch balls; place 3 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until cookies are golden. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
