Melt chocolate slowly in a saucepan. (Can be melted by increments in microwave, stirring periodically)
Add butter and blend well, add additional butter for a richer sauce. Slowly add water and bring to a boil.
Add sugar, salt and corn syrup and bring to a boil, boiling for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve hot.
