Chocolate - Caramel - Oatmeal Bars

I had some left over caramel ice cream topping, so this is what I used it for...I love anything with oats...the fiber oatmeal provides is a plus...enjoy!

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
butter, melted
2 c
flour
1 tsp
baking soda
2 c
quick oatmeal
1 1/2 c
brown sugar
1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
vanilla
8 oz
chocolate chips, your choice
8 oz
caramel ice cream topping
4 Tbsp
flour

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, combine butter, flour, baking soda, vanilla, oatmeal, brown sugar and salt. Stir to combine.
2Press half of this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.

Bake for 10 minutes. Cool slightly.
3Combine caramel topping and flour.
4Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust. Drizzle caramel mixture over chocolate chips.
5Crumble remaining oatmeal mixture over the top of the caramel.

Bake for 15 minutes. Let bars cool before cutting
