My family is your typical, psychotic obsessed Texans football family. The family was over to watch the game and my mom put me in charge of desserts. I made a few of my favorite football inspired sweets and this Football Field Bark. Sadly, it wasn't lucky enough for us to win but it was the perfect combo of mint and chocolate. And the left overs definitely made for some great "depression" snacking after our loss.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound good melting chocolate ( bars, chips, melts)
  • 1 pound good melting white chocolate
  • - green food coloring
  • 1 cup crushed mint m&m's
  • 1 cup andes mint baking chips

How To Make football field bark

  • Step 1
Using whatever method you prefer, melt your chocolate and pour/spread it evenly on a baking sheet lined with a Silpat or wax paper. (I microwave the chocolate)
  • Step 2
Let that layer sit while you melt your white chocolate.
  • Step 3
Once the white chocolate is melted stir in green food coloring until it reaches your desired shade of green.
  • Step 4
Pour/spread the white chocolate over the regular chocolate layer.
  • Step 5
Top with crushed mint M&M's, Andes Mint Baking Chips, and sprinkle with green sugar.
  • Step 6
    Refrigerate until completely set.
  • Step 7
Break into bite sized pieces and enjoy.
