1I use Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cake Mix and add eggs, oil, and water. Bake in Bundt or tube pan approx. 35 min. check cake according your oven timing. May also try in 9X13 pan 23 to 28 min. approx. time. Cut into cubes 1-2 inches, so they hold up to cream cheese mixture.
2Let cream cheese soften at room temp. Then mix cream cheese with 1/2 can or 7oz. sweetened condensed milk. Then add cool whip, I folded it in. Add powdered sugar make sure mixture is somewhat thick. May need to add a little extra powdered sugar if to thin.
3In large crystal or glass bowl place layer of cubes of cake in bottom layer. Then cover with layer of cream cheese mixture just as listed. Repeat layers until top layer, then drizzle enough mixture pver top to decorate. Keep refrigerated overnight before serving. May just refrigerate a few hours before serving. I kept refrigerated due to cream cheese mixture.
