I had an idea for some things in the pantry and made this cake last night. We loved it and hope that you will too.

While this cake is baking, you'll think of fall. The aroma is so good, you may be tempted to bake a cake each day. Thanks to the apples, this cake is very moist. I loved the apple/cinnamon flavor in each bite. The caramel drizzle tops this cake perfectly!

Ingredients For pumpkin apple cinnamon caramel cake

  • 1 box
    pumpkin cake mix, prepare as directed on box
  • 1 md
    apple, peeled and chopped into small size chunks
  • 1/2 -3/4 c
    cinnamon chips
  • 1 c
    caramel bits (melts for baking), can use caramels
  • 2 tsp
    water

How To Make pumpkin apple cinnamon caramel cake

    Heat oven to 350. Mix cake mix as directed on the box.

    Stir in apple chunks and cinnamon chips. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan.

    Cook for about 40-45 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes in pan, then turn out onto serving platter.

    Melt caramel with water in microwave until pouring/drizzling consistency. Pour over cooled cake.
