My grandaughter Isis and I had made ice cream sundaes one day and served the ice cream w/ slices of chocolate cake. I decided to try to make a cake that would taste like an ice cream sundae, and using the pudding works great!!
1Heat oven to 350. Lightly spray a 9" x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, mix all cake ingredients with a mixer. Pour into pan. Bake as directed.
2Remove cake from oven and let cool 10 minutes. W/a round tipped serving spoon, poke holes into cake about an inch apart. In small microwaveable bowl, microwave 1/2 the jar of fudge sauce until smooth. Pour fudge sauce over holes in cake.
3In lg bowl, beat both pudding mixes and milk. Refrigerate 1 minute. Spread evenly over cake. refrigerate cake 1 hr. Spread cool whip over pudding. Slice cake. Microwave remaining fudge sauce. Place slices of cake on plates, or into bowls. Top each slice w/ equal amts strawberry slices, banana slices and some walnuts. Drizzle w/ fudge sauce and watch them smile:-)
