Ingredients For cream-filled banana cupcakes

  • 1 pkg
    18.5 ounces banana cake mix with pudding in the mix
  • 3/4 c
    finely chopped nuts
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • FOR CREAM CHEESE FILLING
  • 1 pkg
    8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    semi sweet chocolate chips

How To Make cream-filled banana cupcakes

    Prepare Cream Cheese Filling: In small mixer bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and egg; beat until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Set aside.

    Heat oven to 350. Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Fill paper lined muffin cups (2 1/2 inches in diameter) 1/2 full with batter. Spoon about 1 teaspoonful filling into center of each cupcake. Combine nuts and sugar; sprinkle about 1 teaspoon over top of each cupcake.

    Bake 20 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in cake portion comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
