Ingredients For celebrity "hummingbird" cake
- FOR THE CAKE

3 call purpose flour

2 csugar

1 tspsalt

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspground cinnamon

3eggs, beaten

1 1/2 cvegetable oil

1 1/2 tspvanilla extract

1 can8 ounce crushed pineapples, undrained

2 cchopped bananas (about 4)

2 cchopped pecans
- FOR FROSTING

2 pkg8 ounces cream cheese, softened

2 stickbutter
-
2 box16 ounces each powdered sugar

2 tspvanilla extract
How To Make celebrity "hummingbird" cake

1Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add eggs and oil; stir until moistened. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, bananas, and 1 cup chopped pecans.

2Spoon batter into 3 greased and floured 9 inch cake pans.

3Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cakes comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans and onto wire racks to cool completely.

4Meanwhile, for frosting, in a large bowl, with electric mixer, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla.

5Generously spread frosting between cooled cake layers and on sides and top of cake. Garnish with remaining 1 cup pecans.
