4Bake for 25 min. then remove to cool. While slicing banana into small slices for the top of cake. Although if your cakes are unevenly matched you can cut thicker slices to level out by placing them in between the layers before frosting.
5As cake cools poke with toothpick and pour small amt. of banana liquor onto cake. Just for a hint of flavor that makes them ask "hmm, what's that mysterious flavor that tastes so good"?
6Time to ice the cake when completely cool. Crumble cookies fine with bottom of spoon and shake sparingly across top and place thin slices of banana on top then serve up. Top ea. slice with whipped cream.
7Enjoy with a tall glass of Milk, it goes great with this cake. Kids aren't the only ones who will love it. (Remember you will want to eat the banana slices on top before refrigerating as they will darken after 4-5 hrs. You can add more next time you serve it up.)
