butter (oleo) softened
Throughly cream vegetable oil, butter and both sugars.
Add vanilla and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients. Stir in and blend. (I use my stand mixer on low for 30 seconds, then on medium speed just until mixed together).
Roll a teaspoon of soft dough into a ball. Roll ball in granulated sugar. (I color or buy the sugar depending on the holiday or time of year).
Press down on a lightly greased cookie sheet with a glass tumbler (use the bottom greased with a little dough), then dip the tumbler in granulated sugar.
