These cookies are perfect for fall parties and you can utilize fresh pumpkin. It comes out just as good with canned pumpkin though and its alot easier, and quicker.

Ingredients

2 c
butter, unsalted
2 c
sugar
2 c
cooked pumpkin (16 oz can)
2
eggs
2 tsp
vanilla extract
3 1/2 c
flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
2 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1 1/2 tsp
allspice, ground

CREAM CHEESE GLAZE

6 oz
softened cream cheese
1 tsp
vanilla
2 Tbsp
heavy cream
6 Tbsp
confectioners' sugar

Step-By-Step

1preheat oven to 375
2cream together butter and sugar
3add pumpkin egg and vanilla to butter mixture and mix well
4sift together remaining ingedients and add to above mixture
5drop rounded teaspoons of mix onto well greased cookie sheets and bake 12-15 minutes
6while warm ice with cream cheese glaze
7blend all 4 glaze ingredients together till smooth
