- BEAT TOGETHER

2 sticksalted butter, softened

1 cbrown sugar, packed

1/2 cup cgranulated sugar
- ADD

2eggs
-
1 tspvanilla extract
- COMBINE & ADD

1 1/2 call-purpose flour
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspsalt
- STIR IN

3 cquaker oats (quick)
-
3/4 ccoconut or raisins (optional)
How To Make quaker oats vanishing oatmeal cookies

1Preheat oven to 350. Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, salt; mix well. Slowly stir in oats and optional coconut/raisins.

2Drop by rounded tablespoon onto parchment lined cookie sheet. ( I use small melon scoop). Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minuted on sheet, remove to wire rack.
