butter or margarine
chopped pecans (optional)
Combine first 4 ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a rapid boil. Boil for 1-1/2 minutes.
Turn burner off and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients, and stir until well mixed.
Pour into a lightly greased 9 x 13 cookie pan and let cool. Cut into squares and serve.
