Followed the recipe, they are rock hard - I am sad I wasted a bag of Oreos on this. Won't be trying it again or try to modify the recipe - they aren't very good.

I tried one and OH MY GOSH these things are awesome. they're gooey on the outside and crunchy inside. Not too hard at all and I'm sure a cost of powdered sugar on the outside will fix the gooey stickiness. Wow this is great!

So I used doubled this recipe. 2.packages of oreos, and 1 bag (10 cups) of mini marshmallows (easier to handle) and 1/2 cup butter. My blender didn't like the oreos much so that was a pain. I melted the marshmallows and butter in a pan not the microwave and then mixed together. The result was an incredibly sticky, dark, and hard to handle substance that tasted amazing. I thought I might be able to put them on tin foil and let them harden. Well they don't exactly 'harden'. They do set, but they are still gooey. I scrapped them off the tin foil 30 minutes later and put them in to tupperware, still in a ball shape. And put them in the fridge. A friend made this recipe and said she had all the same issues but put them in the fridge over night and the next day they were still gooey but manageable and she was really pleased. I'll post again in the morning with my results.

5 cups of marshmallows is tricky to measure so I thought to go by weight.....8 ounces per cup. Pretty sure I messed this up as mine aren't very dark colored. Hoping they set up!
