    oreo cookies
  • 4 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 1 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1/3 c
    packed light-brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 c
    pecan halves

How To Make oreo pecan pie bars

    Prepare a 9x9 baking dish by lining it with parchment paper or foil and lightly spraying with non-stick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Pulse together the chocolate sandwich cookies and the butter in a food processor until a fine crumble forms. Press the crumbs into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

    In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter, vanilla and salt. Mix in the pecan halves. Pour filling into the baking dish. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until set around the edges and slightly jiggly in the middle.

    Allow pie to cool completely before cutting and serving. Pie is best eaten within 24 hours, but it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. If kept at room temperature for longer than a day, the Oreo layer will shift from ooey/gooey to soggy.
