    ultragrain all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c
    oat bran
  • 2 Tbsp
    ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 c
    light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 c
    dried fruits
  • 1/2 c
    ground walnuts

How To Make nuts and fruits breakfast cookies

    Preheat oven to 350F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flours, oat bran, flaxseed, baking soda and cinnamon; whisk until well combined and set aside. In a separate mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and eggs; stir until incorporated. Stir in dried fruits.

    Add flour mixture to egg mixture and stir until moist and completely combined. Stir in walnuts. Drop mounds of dough onto prepared baking sheets, 2 inches apart.

    Bake, one sheet at a time, for 10 to 12 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheet for 1 minute. Transfer to wire rack and cool completely.
