These are rich and buttery. They are traditional Mexican shortbread cookies that are very popular with everyone,in my neck of the woods, at anytime...not just at weddings!

Ingredients

1 c
magerine
1/2 c
powdered sugar,sifted
2 c
flour,sifted
1 tsp
vanilla
1/3 c
walnut or pecans, finely chopped
powdered sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

cream together margerine and 1/2 c sifted powdered sugar

Add flour, vanilla and nuts and mix well.

Shape dought into walnut shaped balls.

Place on oiled cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until they begin to brown.

Cool for 5 minutes and roll in powdered sugar
