Ingredients For low fat oatmeal raisin cookies

  • 1 c
    raisins
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 3
    egg whites
  • 1 Tbsp
    molasses
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 c
    quick cooking oats

How To Make low fat oatmeal raisin cookies

    In a food processor, combine the raisins, water, egg whites, and molasses. Cover and process for 10-15 seconds or until the raisins are finely chopped.

    Transfer to a large bowl. Beat in sugars and vanilla. Combine the flour, milk powder, baking powder, and cinnamon; gradually add to raisin mixture and mix well. Stir in oats.

    Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
