These make wonderful gifts. They are prettiest if rolled, but it's easier if you don't--and they taste the same.

Ingredients

1/2 c
butter, unsalted
1/2 c
sugar
2 Tbsp
cream
3/4 c
oats, quick cooking
1/4 c
flour

Step-By-Step

1Melt butter.
2Add the rest of the ingredients.
3Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.
4Bake for 10 minutes at 350. *Cookies are very thin.
5Take out of oven and cool for no more than 1 minute, then roll around handle of wooden spoon.
6They will not roll if too hot or too cool. These are good flat also if you don't have the time or patience to roll.
