Ingredients

1 1/4 c
sugar
1/2 c
shortening
2
eggs
1/3 c
honey
1 3/4 c
flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
2 c
oats
1 c
raisins

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Mix sugar, shortening, eggs and honey.

3Stir in remaining ingredients.

4Using a medium size (2 teaspoons) cookie scoop, drop dough about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

5Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to wire racks to cool.
Store in a tightly covered cookie jar or canister to keep moist.
